From the moment we arrived, Steph and Tony made us feel so welcome. They even left a thoughtful welcome package with a bottle of wine and fresh eggs in the kitchen. The cottage itself was immaculate and comfortable, with really good fixtures and fittings in the bathroom and kitchen. The bedrooms were cozy and provided a restful night's sleep. The highlight for us was the beautiful orchard where our dog could roam freely. The friendly dogs on the hotel were an added bonus. The location was fine, with meticulously kept gardens and amazing views. Our children were thrilled to interact with the horses, pigs, and goats, and the secured dog walking pen was a hit. Steph and Tony's hospitality and the box of chocolates we received upon arrival made our stay nice. we highly recommend this charming cottage.

The location of the cottage is absolutely stunning, with beautifully kept gardens and surrounding properties. the owners have clearly put a lot of effort into renovating the property to a high standard, with quality furniture and appliances throughout. the bedrooms are comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchen fixtures are exceptional. the owners are welcoming and even provided a lovely box of chocolates upon arrival.
It would have been helpful to have a mirror in the smallest bedroom.

I absolutely adored the charming decor of Mill Cottage. The vintage furniture and beautiful artwork created such a cozy and homely atmosphere. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the attention to detail in the decoration, making it easy to navigate around the cottage without any obstacles or hazards. The general areas, such as the gardens and patio, were also well-maintained and easily accessible for someone like me, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
If I could ask for one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have handrails installed along the staircase. While the children working there were very helpful and friendly, I believe having handrails would provide extra support and reassurance for us older guests when navigating the stairs.

Nothing to dislike, at all. Absolutely nothing.

The cottage had a fancy name and supposedly had "free WiFi" and "garden views." But really, who needs WiFi when you're surrounded by nature? And let's not forget the thrill of staring at a garden. So exhilarating.
Oh, yes, there was definitely something to not like. I mean, who needs a mirror in a bedroom?
